Valley Children's Ice Center of Bakersfield
Overview
Single-sheet ice arena located in downtown Bakersfield across from the McMurtrey Aquatic Center and behind the Rabobank Arena. Features a regulation size hockey rink, pro-shop, event rooms, heated lobby and concession stand. Spectator seating available in two bleacher areas, as well as standing room areas around the entire rink. Four oversized dressing rooms with showers. Over 500 parking spaces immediately adjacent to the rink. Practice home of the Bakersfield Condors professional hockey team.Our youth hockey programs create a comfortable atmosphere allowing boys and girls to find their place in a group setting, all while having fun and learning the sport of hockey. Being a part of a team teaches children to work together, develops self-confidence, and builds character; starting as young as the age of three.
Our adult hockey programs offer multiple levels
★ Gold League Very experienced players, fast paced
★ Silver League Experienced players, mid-level
★ Bronze Division Recreational level.
Beginners welcome.
