Valley Children's Ice Center of Bakersfield is Kern county’s premier ice skating facility. Our goal is to provide family fun ice sports for everyone. Ice skating lessons, birthday parties and hockey leagues for every level is just the beginning of everything we strive to provide here at the coolest place in town. If you have never had the opportunity to ice skate or if you are interested in learning to ice skate Valley Children's Ice Center of Bakersfield offers classes and skate sessions to accommodate your busy schedule. Before you visit our facility we would like to offer some advice to prepare you for your ice skating experience. Be prepared for the cool temperature of our facility by dressing warm. We recommend a helmet, long pants, jacket, and gloves. Be prepared to fall on the ice if you are a beginner. If you have any questions about ice skating, how to lace-up your skates, lift yourself up if you have fallen on the ice, etc., please ask our staff to assist you with skating pointers. We offer Public skating at least once every day with few exceptions.
