Overview
The Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra’s mission is to perform great concerts for all audiences and provide music education for the young people of Kern County. The 84th season has brought in a new conductor, Stilian Kirov who assumed the role of the youngest Music Director in BSO’s history. The BSO continues to impact the lives of Kern County's youth with the Young People's Concerts series and the BSO NEXT program, reaching over 12,000 children per year.
