Bakersfield Racquet Club
Overview
The Bakersfield Racquet Club was founded in 1948. It is a family club, where tennis and friendship are the major draw. It is also the home of champions as many nationally ranked tennis players grew up on the BRC courts. Dennis Ralston was instrumental in bringing to the Bakersfield Racquet Club the Davis Cup tie between the U.S. and Canada in 1965, making Bakersfield one of the few cities in California ever to host a Davis Cup event. The rich history is something newcomers to Bakersfield should not miss. The club offers organized adult and youth activities, USTPA Certified Teaching Pros, Nike Tennis Camps and much more.
