Webinar Series Highlights Bakersfield Attractions
Even during a pandemic, local museums have offerings and programs for the whole family.
The “Virtual Museum Trail” featured a panel of representatives from each local museum, highlighting innovate programs, updates on current safety guidelines, online programs, and upcoming events. The video features Amy Smith from Bakersfield Museum of Art, Koral Hancharick from Buena Vista Museum of Natural History and Science, Bethany Rice from Kern County Museum, and Meg Maitland from California Living Museum.
The focus of Visit Bakersfield’s webinar series is to bring information about what to see and do in Bakersfield directly to local travel partners, such as hotels, restaurants and attractions. Those travel partners are Visit Bakersfield’s ambassadors who can help visitors and residents spend their money in California’s ninth largest city. Local residents also will find this first webinar to be valuable, especially with kids home during the summer.
Anyone interested to viewing future webinars live can request registration information from Visit Bakersfield at info@VisitBakersfield.com. Registration is free. For more information, contact Visit Bakersfield at (661) 852-7282.
