We are the official tourism center for the City of Bakersfield, encouraging people to explore California’s ninth largest city. In this strategic role, you will leverage your expertise to promote our destination to key partners and drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the tourism industry, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to generate new business and close deals.

Bakersfield welcomes visitors from all over the world and Visit Bakersfield is responsible for selling the city and region as a site for conventions, corporate meetings, trade shows, leisure travel, group travel, and cultural, sports, and special events.
