National Geographic Traveller U.K. Edition dubs city "Creative Cali."
Bakersfield is spotlighted in the March 2019 issue of National Geographic Traveller, U.K. edition, one of the U.K.’s leading consumer travel publications. The one page Bakersfield profile, part of the magazine’s 22-page “California Dreaming” feature, begins with this: “An eclectic art scene, array of music festivals and abundance of outdoor activities, Bakersfield is packed with attractions for the whole family.”
The 10-issue-a-year magazine has a monthly circulation of more than 58,000 copies and a readership of 150,000 each issue, with an average household income greater than £100,000. The Information and photos used in the magazine’s one page profile were provided by Visit Bakersfield.
