2019 USA BMX Golden State Nationals Coming to Bakersfield

USA BMX, the American Bicycle Association, announced Wednesday that Bakersfield will again be the host city for the group’s Golden State Nationals in 2019.

This three day event will be held May 3-5, 2019 at Metro BMX, 3805 Chester Avenue. This is the same location that hosted the USA BMX Golden State Nationals in 2018.

In a live Facebook announcement Wednesday announcing the first half of its 2019 schedule, USA BMX said of Bakersfield, “At Metro BMX, Eric, April and Jordan and all the volunteers at this track have put their heart and soul into making this facility one of the top facilities in the country. Also Matt (Billingsley) and his team at Visit Bakersfield, we have a great partnership with them and we look forward to seeing everyone there.” Accompanying the announcement was a video welcome to USA BMX from Bakersfield Mayor Karen Goh.

USA BMX also announced events in early 2019 would be held in Las Vegas; Louisville; Tulsa; Phoenix; Oldsmar, Florida; West Monroe, Louisiana; Albuquerque; Rock Hill, South Carolina; DeSoto Texas; Redmond, Oregon; Atlanta; and Nashville.
